Preparing to change gauge
T.T.C. workmen are busy all along the line preparing to change the gauge of the Radial Railways. All possible preparatory work is being done now so that the actual change can be made with the minimum of inconvenience. The present cars will be used for some time as the new cars will not be ready for delivery for some time after the gauge is changed. Until the new cars are used passengers will still be obliged to change at the city limits. It is understood that a revision of fares has been made by T.T.C officials and that when it is announced it will be very favorable to Richmond Hill and the whole North Yonge Street district.
