The Grand Trunk recently completed and put in operation a mechanical interlocking plant at Paris Junction, Ontario, Canada, where the seventeenth district joins with the twentieth district. The plant is purely mechanical and all materials are R. S. A. designs and recommendations. The interlocking at Grand Trunk Junction is also being rebuilt. This olant is at the joining of the twenty-fifth and twenty-ninth districts and the grade crossing of the Pere Marquette. There will be 41 operated levers and three spare spaces; the operation will be by mechanical means, with power-operated distant signals.
