Wabash.—In our June issue it was stated that the Canadian repairing shops were to be built at St. Thomas at a cost of $100,000. On June 19 we were officially advised that the management was unable to give any information in regard to the matter.
It was recently stated by J. Ramsay, Jun., President and General Manager, that new 80 lb. rails will be laid between Glencoe and Windsor, 80 miles, replacing the present 65 lb. rails. Gravel ballasting is progressing at the rate of a mile a day.
