Construction
The Canadian Pacific has awarded a contract to the Union Switch & Signal Company, Swissvale, Pa., for the complete installation of two mechanical interlocking plants at Brantford, Ontario. These separate plants, which will be known as Towers "A" and "B," are at adjacent crossings of the Lake Erie & Northern, with the Grand Trunk and with the Toronto, Hamilton & Buffalo. Both plants will be operated from Saxby and Farmer interlocking machines, with the "A" Tower having a machine of 24-lever frame and the "B" Tower a 20-Iever frame.
