Referring to the article on acetylene gas for trains which appeared in our last issue, Holland Bros., Ottawa, write:—We have just closed a contract with the Pontiac & Pacific Jct. Manager, who has been running his trains since January last lighted with acetylene to light the Gatineau Valley trains. The Canada Atlantic has asked us to make an offer to light the cars on its two lines.
