New cars for Metropolitan.

Cars which add greatly to the comfort of patrons of the Metropolitan railway are to be installed on the road at once. This announcement was made by President Warren of the company at a meeting of the County Commissioners, held last week in J. A. Ramsden's office at the old Court House.

The company have four first class cars under contract. One in complete, and the balance will be finished within 60 days. They are 47 ft. long and have cross seats and compartments for baggage. The action of the Company is the outcome of a resolution passed at the last session of the County Council.
