Cars will be cushioned.
The Metropolitan Railway Company has acceded to the demands made by York County citizens. Manager Moyes says that the reason the company had not put on their new cars was solely from the fact that the manufacturers in the United States had neglected to send along certain equipment. This will be hurried forward, and in the meantime the old cars will be cushioned, the windows cleaned, and trailer attached to the 5.40 o'clock car leaving North Toronto whenever traffic warrants it.
