Schomberg.

...

A couple of the employees of the S. & A. Ry. were in town on Wednesday last measuring off the land on the McGill property on which the Schomberg depot and freight sheds are to be erected. Of course this is natural but we do not expect to see anything done until at these buildings until the present difficulty which the railroad is in is settled. As a result of this trouble everything seems to be at a standstill.

The Schomberg extension of the railway is now nearing completion. Contracts for three stations have been let to the Innis Bros., Richmond Hill, and the road is expected to be put into early operation.
