Metropolitan extension.

Engineer McDougall and large staff of assistants, who were engaged last week taking levels for the extension of the Metropolitan to Lake Simcoe, are at it again this week. It is said that three routes will be examined to see which will be the most feasible way to reach Jackson's Point. The company will no doubt take into consideration the several villages which would contribute to its earning power by running the line through them, even if it does take more power to operate.
