The masons are nearly thru with their part of the work in connection with the excavating that has been going on lately, and a commodious basement will soon be occupied by machinery to relieve the congested part of the factory.

It is understood that a meeting of the directors will be held this week to consider the advisability of putting up another two-storey addition at the south end of the factory this fall. The factory is so crowded with work that they are about three months behind in their orders.

The factory was running last Saturday afternoon and closed Wednesday afternoon so that all hands could go to the picnic.
