Snow blockade.
Last Friday morning was a trying one for the railroads. Then snow drifted badly on Thursday night and then the rain packed it on Friday morning. The trolley very nearly had a tie-up. The car that left at 7.30 did not get to North Toronto till 20 minutes past 2 o'clock—almost 7 hours on the road.
