A prospective move.
The call for a meeting of the stockholders of the Toronto Street Railway Co. to consider the taking over of the Metropolitan and other electric radial lines running out of the city, marks the probable amalgamation and control of all these lines by the Street Railway as a prospective event in the near future. It means, likewise, the early construction of the Metropolitan north to the summer resorts on the shores of Lake Simcoe: at least this is the whispering in the air just now.
