G.T.R betterments, construction, etc.
Point St. Charles shops.—The negotiations respecting the fixing of taxation on the company's property at this point, has been practically agreed to on a basis of $1,000,000 for a period of 20 years. The company is arranging for extensive improvements and additions to the shops, and desired to have the assessment fixed before the work was commenced.
