London, Ont., improvements.—A. Mountain, Chief Engineer Board of Railway Commissioners, and E. L. Cousins, Resident Engineer, Middle Division, G.T.R., were in London, Jan. 13, and made an inspection of the company's lines in the city tor the purpose of preparing a preliminary report respecting level crossings. The elimination of the level crossings brings up the question of the elevation of the tracks, which has been agitated or some years. (Jan., pg. 47.)
