Tay Township assessment.—The Ontario Legislature is being asked to confirm a by-law of Tay township council granting the company a fixed assessment of $1,700 a year upon the company's property in the township for 20 years for general taxes, and a gross value of $300,000 a year for school taxes. The company agrees to keep in operation during the period its grain elevators situated in the township.
