Mayor Curran has received the official order of the Board of Railway Commissioners in regard to the building of the new G.T.R. station at Orillia. The order to the railway company is to erect the station at the foot of Peter Street, and to have same completed not later than October 1st, 1917. The station will be about the same size and lay out as the C.P.R. and will be of brick. The plans are to be submitted to the town for approval before work is commenced. It is also ordered that the work be begun with 30 days from May 25.
