A deputation from Richmond Hill attended a meeting at the Parliament Buildings to strengthen the hands of the Metropolitan Railway Company in their efforts to get the bill passed through the House permitting the Metropolitans cars to run over the track of the Toronto Street Railway to Union Station. The bill was defeated by 18 to 29.
