Our town fathers have another big night.

...

Orders of the day.

Mr. Keith moved that the prayer of the petition for Hamilton, Court and Pearson streets be granted and that the By-Law COmmittee prepare a by-law giving effect thereto. Carried.

The Mayor produced a letter from the National Railway Office, together with blue prints, stating that application was being made to the Railway Board for the privilege of re-building the overhead bridge on Queen st. so as to provide for more trackage under the bridge.

The Council had no objection to the plans and were of the opinion that the re-building of the bridge two feet wider would be an advantage to the Corporation.

Council adjourned at 11.45.
