Newmarket depot.
On Saturday last the log rollers completed the task of unloading 340 cars of saw-logs for The Wm. Cane & Sons Mfg. Co., the cars coming in at the rate of about ten a day ever since the latter part of June.
During the same time there were also received by the same firm about 60 cars of quarry stone and 20 cars of brick for their new buildings, to say nothing of the lumber which would probably average a car a day.
No winder this has been an exceptionally lively summer at the depot when the Specialty building supplies and the usual regular business is added onto that.
