Cane's factory.
For some time workmen have been engaged in the carpenter department on a large order for St. Catharines, being the interior wood-work for a handsome new residence. On Tuesday over half a car of handsome hardwood mantles were shipped on the contract, and the workmanship was greatly admired by all who saw it, reflecting great credit on the factory. The manufacture of screen windows and doors still continues. The firm is just finishing 5,000 windows and 10,000 doors for this reason's market.
