Collision at Mimico delays C.N.R. traffic

Traffic was delayed for some hours on the Canadian National Railways line between Toronto and Hamilton yesterday morning as the result of a collision between two engines in the Mimico yard. No one was injured in the mishap.

At 2.50 o'clock engine No. 2380, pulling freight train No. 490, eastbound, ran foul of a switch and collided with engine No. 3339, which was crossing over to go into the shop, after pulling a freight train in from Washago. Both engines went over on their sides. Fortunately there was no ditch at the spot where the collision occurred, which was just at the west end of the Mimico train yard. The wrecking crew arrived on the scene in short order, but it was not until 11 o'clock that the line was completely cleared and.
