The Toronto Terminals Railway Company

Sealed tenders marked on the outside "Tenders for the demolition and removal of buildings," addressed to the Chief Engineer, The Toronto Terminals Railway Company, New Union Station, Toronto, Ontario, will be received up to 12 o'clock noon, Saturday, July 31st, 1926.

There are two buildings formerly owned by Gooderham & Worts to be demolished and removed, and they are located between Parliament and Trinity Streets to the south of the Canadian National Railways right of way.

Building No. 1 is a large frame grain elevator and contains valuable pine timber which must amount in the aggregate to over one million feet board measure. The timber is mostly of large dimensions and understood to be of excellent quality.

Building No. 2 is a large frame coal shed of ordinary construction for the purpose for which it has been used.

Each building may be tendered for separately or both combined.

Each tender must be accompanied by a deposit in currency or accepted cheque equal to 10% of offer, and the balance of purchase money paid in cash upon acceptance of tender.

The successful bidder for each parcel must execute an agreement on a form satisfactory to the Toronto Terminals Railway Company to remove the buildings purchased to the level of the surrounding land within thirty days from date they are authorized to start work.

The buildings may be inspected between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The highest or any tender no necessarily accepted.
