Merritt St. bridge, Merriton.—We are advised officially that the work to be done on Merritt St. bridge, Merriton, Ont., involves repairs to the span carrying the highway over 2 main line tracks and 2 through sidings. The repairs will be made from stock material, and some of the longitudinal stringers supporting the roadway will also be replaced. The present clearance over the track will be maintained, and the present elevation of the roadway, including the approaches, will not be altered. The work is to be done by the railway's forces.
