Railway appointments, &c.
Canada Atlantic & O. A. & P. S. Rys.—Traffic Manager Smith issued the following circular Nov. 1: R. A. Carter is appointed Travelling Freight & Passenger Agent of these companies, with office at Ottawa, vice G. H. Phillips, resigned. Mr. Carter will also continue to discharge the duties of Contracting Agent at Montréal until further notice.
J. E. Conner has been appointed New England Travelling Passenger Agent, with headquarters at 196 Washington street, Boston, Mass.
