New Master of Bridges and Buildings.

A circular has just been sent out from the G.T.R. office announcing the retirement of Mr. E. Brown as Master of Bridges and Buildings. He will be succeeded by Mr. Wm. Toole. Mr. Brown has held the position here of Master of Bridges and Buildings for the past twelve years, he having succeeded Mr. Mitchell. Before coming to Allandale Mr. Brown was engaged as Bridge Foreman between Midland and Lindsay twelve years ago. Mr. Daniel McPhail, it is understood, will be Mr. Toole's successor as Inspector of Bridges on the Northern Division.
