The Specialty works.

Every department is still crowded with orders. Twenty handsome office desk, of various sizes and design are just getting the finishing touches before being shipped to the new court house, Toronto. Part of them were shipped yesterday. They are all finished in the natural wood and the grain is most beautiful. The work is not only a credit to Newmarket but is a credit to Canada and going into such a magnificent building will no doubt be examined by people from all parts of the world.

The new factory is approaching completion. The masons have finished. Mr. Ed. Richardson, contractor for carpenter work, would finish this week only he is waiting for castings. All the windows are finished and glazed but it takes 3 tons of weights to balance them and they are not ready yet. There are nearly 2000 panes of glass in the building, without the skylights.

Mr. G. A. Binns, who has the contract for roofing, expected to finish that part yesterday. There are between three and four tons of galvanized iron on the roof, and the ten skylights are covered with very heavy frosted glass in iron frames. The Specialty Co. has ordered a new boiler of much larger capacity than the one now in use and it is expected that as soon as it arrives the factory will be shut down for a few days to make necessary changes in machinery and move into the new building at the same time.
