Begin process of planning for train station development

Speaking with representatives of Ontario Heritage Trust has been the next step in the process of doing something with the train station after the municipality took ownership of it.
Laird felt once the station is up and going and has official heritage designation plaques placed upon it, it will become a tourist draw.
The sub-committee of the EDC that will deal with the train station will have its fi rst meeting December 6. Laird expects the committee will spend the meeting getting organized and said once it gets on its feet it can begin the process of planning for the train station development.
