Meaford ratepayers will vote next Thursday on a proposed loan of $15,000 to the Meaford Furniture Mfg. Co. for 20 years. The factory at the present time pays $50,000 a year in wags and it is proposed to increase the number of workmen to 140 and double the number and size of buildings.
