Across the bay

The G.T.R. brought 60 Italians up from Toronto last week to work on the new road between Wyevale and Midland.

About 2 o'clock last Thursday afternoon, yard engine no. 1660 left the rails near the Essa street crossing and it took two hours to replace her.

On Wednesday night the engine on Penetang train No. 27 threw one of its driving wheels near Perkinsfield and was delayed while another engine was sent out from Allandale.

On Friday afternoon a few freight cars left the track near Collingwood. Mr. Cap. Storey, one of the brakemen, was thrown from the top of one of the box cars and had his face badly bruised.
