Windsor, Jan. 2.—Fire partially destroyed the coal chutes of the Grand Trunk Railway at the Windsor yards last night. The blaze is thought to have been started by sparks from an engine, as the chutes are near the roundhouse. Three or four thousand tons of soft coal, belonging to the railroad company, were threatened, but quick work by the Windsor department prevent a more disastrous fire.
