In the matter of the application of the Canadian National Railway Company for an Order authorizing it to abandon that part of its Alvinston Subdivision between Glencoe (mile 0.28) and Alvinston (mile 10.74), a total distance of 10.46 miles, all in the Province of Ontario:

Upon hearing the application at a sittings of the Board in London, Ontario, on January 21st and 22nd, 1965, in the presence of Counsel for the Canadian National Railway Company, the Village of Alvinston and Township of Brooke, and in the presence of the Councillor for the Township of Mosa, and George N. McCallum, in person, and upon reading the submissions filed—

It is hereby ordered as follows:

  1. The Canadian National Railway Company is authorized to abandon its Alvinston Subdivision between Glencoe (mile 0.28) and Alvinston (mile 10.74), a distance of 10.46 miles, not earlier than the 1st day of July, 1965, on not less than thirty days' prior notice filed with the Board and posted in the station at Alvinston for the information of the public.
  2. The Canadian National Railway Company shall, within one week from the date on which abandonment has taken place, advice the Board of the date on which such abandonment actually took place.
