In the matter of the application of the Canadian National Railways, hereinafter called the Applicants, for permission to close as an agency the station at Goldstone, in the Province of Ontario.

Upon hearing the application at the sittings of the Board held in Kitchener, December 16, 1927, in the presence of counsel for the applicants and the municipality, and what was alleged,—

The Board orders: That the applicants be, and they are hereby, granted leave, until further order, to remove their station agent at Goldstone, Ont., subject to and upon the condition that a caretaker be appointed to see that the station building is kept clean and, when necessary, heated and lighted for the accommodation of passengers on the arrival and departure of trains, and to take care of L.C.L. freight and express shipments.
