In the matter of the consideration of the protection to be provided at the crossing of the Grand Trunk Railway over Yonge Street, 1.5 miles south of Aurora, in the Province of Ontario, at mileage 28.66 of said railway.

Upon the hearing of the matter at the Sittings of the Board held in Toronto, July 15, 1913, in the presence of the Counsel for the Grand Trunk Railway Company, the Township of King being represented at the hearing, and what was alleged—it is ordered

  1. That the side road be diverted into Yonge Street as shown on the sketch on file with the Board under file No. 9437.207; the Railway Company to provide the land necessary for such diversion and deed it to the Township, and the Township to construct and grade the said diversion and do the surface work on Yonge Street.
  2. That, after such diversion is made, the Railway Company may close that portion of the present side road to be diverted as aforesaid, within the limits of its right of way.
  3. That, within sixty days from the date of this Order, the Railway Company install an improved type of illuminated electric bell at the crossing of Yonge Street, and thereafter maintain the said bell at its own expense: a detail plan showing the layout thereof to be submitted for the approval of the Engineer of the Board; twenty per cent of the cost to be paid out of "The Railway Grade-Crossing Fund", and the remainder to be paid by the Railway Company.
