The Canadian Northern has placed an order with the General Railway Signal Company, Ltd., of Canada for materials for a complete installation of a mechanical interlocking plant to protect the Trent canal drawbridge at Washago, Ont., Canada. A 12-lever Saxby & Farmer interlocking machine will be required for this work and it will be furnished from the Rochester, N. Y., factory of the General Railway Signal Company.
