Each arm displays "stop" or "proceed" indication. Upper arms governs movement in both directions on Cayugua Subdivision. Lower arms governs movements in both direction on Humberstone Subdivision. Normal indications of both arms is "stop" and will only be changed to "proceed" indication to permit rains to pass, after which signals must be restorced to normal position.
