Ottawa Terminal Ry.—Application is being made at the current session of the Dominion Parliament for an act incorporating a company with this or such other title, as may finally be determined upon, to acquire all lands necessary or desirable for the undertaking, to construct and operate lines of railway and sidings, to create and issue bonds and other securities, to enter into agreements with railway and other companies or persons, and particularly to take over the rights of the Canada Atlantic Ry. in the lands of the Rideau Canal reserve, obtained from the Government for the purpose of erecting a central station in Ottawa; and authorizing the G.T.R. and the Canada Atlantic Ry. to subscribe for and acquire stock, and to guarantee the bonds of the company, the undertaking of which is declared to be for the general advantage of Canada.
