News from the railway town
...
The large tank at the coal chute has a very dangerous
slanton and it was found necessary to have it emptied and carpenters are now at work putting in extra supports, as there is some possibility of its following the example of its predecessor which plunged down the bank one morning several years ago. The electrically driven pumps were started on Monday and are proving satisfactory.
