Oro council.
The Council met pursuant to notice. All members present. The Reeve in the chair. The minutes of last meeting were read and confirmed.

As a result of the Clerk's communication with W. R. Tiffin, Supt. G.T.R. Co., the Reeve and G. Raikes had met Mr. Tiffin at Raikes' Crossing Ridge Road, con. 1, on September 28th.
The Reeve reported that they had carefully examined the ground to see what action could be taken to ensure a safe crossing, Would recommend that some action be taken. Clerk read Mr. Tiffin's proposition:—
That the railway should erect an overhead bridge about midway between Raikes' Crossing and the first concession line north thereof. The Railway to construct and maintain the bridge, the Council to produce and maintain a roadway on the west side through Mr. Raikes' property and construct the approaches to the overhead bridge or divide the total cost equally between the interested parties, whichever is preferred by the Council.Mr. Raikes having been notified to attend this meeting and having failed to appear, the matter was laid over to next meeting, Clerk to write Mr. Tiffin for plan of proposed change.
