Grand River Ry.—We are officially advised that the company is constructing a 2-mile revision of the line between Preston and Hespeler, Ont., to prevent damage to the roadbed by spring floods, and to enable a more frequent service to be given. The character and extent of the work to be done was fully described in Canadian Railway and Marine World for March, pg. 143. The company has also in contemplation the relaying of 7.5 miles of track between Preston and Kitchener with 80-lb second-hand rails, replacing the 64 and 70-lb. rails laid in 1902. (March, pg. 143.)
