Owen Sound station.—A preliminary description of the station to be built at Owen Sound, Ont., was given in Canadian Railway and Marine World for September, pg. 583, where it was stated the general contract for construction had been awarded [to] G. H. Thomas and Son, Ltd., Galt, Ont. The following contracts in connection with the works are reported to have been awarded recently:—steel, London Structural Steel Co., London, Ont.; millwork, J. Harrison and Son Co., Owen Sound; electrical work, W. J. Forgrave, Owen Sound; plastering B. MacPherson, Owen Sound; plumbing and heating, S. Raven, Owen Sound; painting, W. Edgar, Owen Sound. The approximate cost of the station, a brick and stucco structure, will be $30,000.
