Hamilton improvements.—Following representations by Hamilton, Ont., business man, the C.N.R. Legal Department advised the Board of Railway Commissioners, Sept. , that is was willing to let the application for approval of plans for a new station at King St. and Ferguson Ave., remain in abeyance. The Hamilton City Council's railway committee is opposed to the erection of the station at that point, and favors doing away of the line on Ferguson Ave., and the erection of a station at another point as a part of a general improvement plan, which is being discussed.
