Canadian National Railways construction, betterments, etc.

Grand Fresniere, Que., to Rinfret, Jct.—Twelve miles grading and tracklaying, estimated cost $357,000, construction authorized by bill 31, passed by Dominion Parliament in 1924. The finishing up of the 2,000 ft. cut, the laying of about half a mile of track, and of 5 miles of ballast, left over from 1924, on this branch, has been completed, and a through passenger service has been put on between Montréal tunnel station and Huberdeau.
