Montréal track elevation plans.—The Montréal City Council decided, July 14, to consult with the Board of Railway Commissioners with a view of seeing what steps could be taken to compel the company to proceed with the work of elevating the tracks from Bonaventure station. The work is estimated to cost $10,000,000, towards which the city is authorized by the Québec Legislature to contribute $2,000,000.
