The C.P.R. is advertising for tenders for the construction of the northern portion of the railway they purpose building from Sudbury to Toronto. The Ontario Crown Lands Department has received a further communication from the C.P.R. respecting the right of way through Crow Lands in the Nipissing District. They ask that the necessary permits be issued without delay, as they desire to award contracts and commence construction at once. The C.P.R. may have to obtain a special charter, but there is time enough yet for this during the present session of parliament.
