Entire C.P.R. train through here.
Owing to one of the C.P.R. bridges breaking, all the principal trains of that road on Thursday night and Friday morning ran to Toronto over the G.T.R. from North Bay. On Friday afternoon the Vancouver train pulled out of here with Conductor Frank Heard as pilot, the train being pulled by engine 1303, with engineer Wm. Long at the throttle. This train consisted of 12 of the C.P.Ry.'s finest cars.
