Signaling

...

The Canadian Pacific has ordered materials for the installation of automatic block signaling for the Heron Bay subdivision from the General Railway Signal Company. This territory extends from White River, Ont., to Schreiber, Ont., 119 miles of single track. The signals will be located so that no change will be required when centralized traffic control is added at a later date. This installation requires 251 search-light high and dwarf signals, 609 relays, 305 rectifiers, 70 switch circuit controllers. The field installation will be carried out by the railway company's signal construction forces.
