Cobourg-Port Hope line.—A press release states that consideration is being given to a plan for abandoning the old Canadian Northern Ry. line between Cobourg and Port Hope, Ont., and to close one of the two stations at Port Hope, also that a right-of-way has been acquired for the purpose of making a connection between the old Canadian Northern Ry. line and the old Midland Ry. line.
