Cylinder head blew out.
The passengers on the train to Fenelon Falls one day last week were left a couple of hours late for dinner when the cylinder head of the engine burst and the train was delayed two miles the other side of Cameron station.
The trainmen spent some time in an attempt to repair the injury and then the conductor walker to Cameron station and sent to Lindsay for another engine. It did not arrive until the delay had gone over the two hour mark. Before the start was made again hungry children kept up an incessant cry, which made the mishap more unpleasant.
On arriving at Fenelon Falls there was only one bus to convey the travellers to an hotel and several missed the outgoing train, as they did no have time to get their dinner.
