Orillia—On Monday night coal was used for the first time in getting up steam at the electric light station. The experiment was hardly satisfactory, as the fuel is composed mostly of coal screenings, and the first must be fed constantly to prevent it from going out. Soft coal in chunks is preferable but not just now obtainable. On Saturday night Engineer Ritchie will draw upon his limited wood supply, and avoid the possibility of a temporary shut down. ..
