Meaford train backed into Penetang passenger
What might have resulted differently had train been going a little a faster occurred on Wednesday night when the Meaford train which had pulled out began to back up to the station again, as they had left without the mails. The brakeman on the rear end of the Meaford train did not apply the air brake, and the train backed into into the Penetang passenger train, which was standing at the station taking on her passengers. Fortunately no damage resulted.
